Guest Information Reception Our reception desk is open until 20:00 After-hours (Emergencies only please) (083) 454 7321/2 Checking in & out Your room will be available after 14:00 on the day of arrival. Please advise us if you will be arriving late. Rooms to be vacated by 10:00 on the morning of departure. We will gladly store your luggage if you plan on leaving late. Breakfast A cooked breakfast is available from 7:00 to 9:00 on weekdays and from 8:00 to 10:00 on wekkends and public holidays. A continental breakfast is available from 6:30 on weekdays and 7:30 on weekends and public holidays. Should you plan an early departure a light take-away breakfast can be arranged. Please book 1 day in advance. Your visitors are welcome for breakfast. Please inform us well in advance. Breakfast is charged at R60 per person. Dinner A light dinner can be arranged. Please inform us 1 day in advance. Parking On-site parking is reserved for guests only. Please park in the designated areas. Deliveries Please advise reception if you expect any personal deliveries. We will gladly take delivery on your behalf. Guest registration We are required to keep a record of our guests. On arrival, please complete the form. Television Your room has a DVD player, as well a DSTV that can screen 12 channels. You are welcome to select from our selection of DVDs. Internet Our wireless Internet (WiFi) HotSpot is called “Melvin Residence Hotspot”. Airtime can be purchased online or by means of vouchers obtainable at reception. Laundry Laundry services can be arranged. Please enquire at reception. Payment Payment in full is due on arrival. All extras to be paid at departure. Safe There is a small safe in your room. Our staff is entirely trustworthy, but in their interests as well as yours, please keep all valuables locked away. (The key is on the ring with your room key.) Security We have not had any security problems. However, we do recommend that you take the normal precautions, keeping your room locked. In your car, please travel with doors locked and windows closed, as far as possible. Do not leave any items of value visible in the vehicle. Smoking Please do not smoke in the bedrooms, lounge or breakfast room. In terms of government regulations, the stoep/porch is designated as a smoking area. Bar fridge Your room has a bar fridge stocked with various items. Water Our tap water is pure – amongst the purest in the world. There is a complimentary bottle of spring water in the fridge, should it be your preference. |
